Privacy policy

Effective 17 October 2026

Failure Case is an independent documentary channel. This policy covers the website failurecase.com and Failure Case Publisher, the private tool we use to publish videos to our own YouTube channel. Contact: hello@failurecase.com.

This website

The website has no accounts, forms, cookies, advertising or analytics. Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site, under its own privacy policy. We do not use that data to identify or track visitors.

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Failure Case Publisher (YouTube API Services)

Failure Case Publisher is used only by the channel owner. It uses YouTube API Services to upload videos and manage their details (title, description, thumbnail, captions and playlists) on the Failure Case YouTube channel, and to read public statistics about our own videos. It does not access, collect, store or share data about any other YouTube user.

The sign-in authorization it holds belongs to the channel owner's account and is stored securely by the owner. It is never sold or shared. The owner can revoke it at any time in Google account permissions.

By using YouTube features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Social accounts

We publish on YouTube, X, Bluesky and TikTok. Those platforms handle your data under their own policies when you visit or interact with our accounts there.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
